It’s almost the end of 2018, so we’re taking a quick-fire look at what the Revell Ward team have loved (and loathed!) about the last 12 months and their plans for the year ahead.
What’s been your proudest achievement at work this year and why?
Regaining the payroll work from Simon Blyth after just one month of absence.
What’s been your proudest personal achievement this year and why?
Playing competitive tennis for the first time ever – and we just missed out on promotion in the play-off final. Go Gregory Fields! I wasn’t very good but I did play a small part.
What’s been the best piece of news you’ve received in 2018?
My eldest son’s A Level results.
What will you be glad to leave behind this year and why?
About a stone in weight – depending how Christmas goes!
What one thing do you plan to start doing in 2019?
I’ve just started the “Couch to 5k” running program, which will hopefully turn into a long-term habit – can I count that for 2019?
And what one thing do you plan to stop?
Animal products – I already avoid meat and I’m gradually moving over to being vegan.
Describe your success rate with New Year’s resolutions…
I don’t make them! I’m pretty good at sticking to things if I’m doing them for the right reason, though.
