Solicitors’ Accounts Rules Compliance & Solicitors Regulation Authority Reporting

An annual accountant’s report and accountant’s checklist are required for all sole practitioners or recognised bodies (Partnership, LLP or Company) who deal with client money.

The accountant’s report and checklist are submitted to the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Their role is to ensure that the high standards set are met by solicitors and to protect the public by acting when risks are identified. The SRA place great reliance on the reporting accountants to ensure the Solicitors Accounts Rules are being adhered to and client monies are being safeguarded.

Revell Ward LLP is registered to perform SAR compliance work and has a wealth of experience and technical knowledge to meet the accounting needs of all solicitors.
