Rewarding success
Feb 1, 2012
Rob White has just completed his first set of Chartered Accountancy exams and is delighted to have come top in the audit and assurance paper and joint top in the tax paper across West Yorkshire. Rob was rewarded with a special mission.
Rob joined Revell Ward just over a year ago from Huddersfield University but has also spent some time in industry including working closely with a number of charities.
Rob is part of Revell Ward’s specialist charities team and he is using his personal interest and experience to help local charities as part of Revell Ward’s Corporate Social Responsibility policy.
Rob’s latest project is working with the team at the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice in Huddersfield, to provide guidance on internal systems and controls as the charity expands and prepares to make full use of its new premises. The hospice supports children who are unlikely to live to adulthood, and their families, across Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield. Fundraising is ongoing as the charity strives to raise the £2.5million it will need each year to support its hospice at home plus day and overnight respite services.
