John Smith’s Stadium will be hosting a Christmas Dinner with a difference this year.
General Manager, Anthony Hegney, the brains behind the idea, will play host to 100 of Huddersfield’s homeless community providing them with a full Christmas Dinner, the contents of which have been pledged by many local businesses. Over 200 people have volunteered to help on Christmas Day when, John Smith’s Stadium will feed the homeless Christmas Dinner, which is tremendous and shows the true spirit within the town.
Revell Ward will add their sprinkle of fun and have pledged to supply crackers and chocolates for everybody.
Anthony is also collecting coats to give out to the homeless so if anybody out there has any old coats they no longer need Revell Ward will happily be your drop off point in Town and will ensure Anthony gets them well in advance of the day.
