ARE YOU A SMALL BUSINESS WANTING STRATEGIC ADVICE FOR THE FIRST TIME?

Well help is at hand through the government’s introduction of “Growth Vouchers”.

What is a Growth Voucher?

The government have a £30 million pot of funding for small businesses. This pot is to be divided up in

to £2,000 chunks, which are then branded as Growth Vouchers. Growth Vouchers are worth between £250 and £2,000 (match funded) and is

to be used on the production of a strategic plan.

Is my business eligible?

These growth vouchers are allocated to qualifying businesses at random.

To qualify your business must:

  • Be owned by you
  • Employ up to 49 full time (or equivalent) members of staff
  • Be based in England
  • Have been trading for over a year
  • Not have paid for strategic advice in the last three years.

The online application process is simple and takes only a few minutes. Once you have applied for the voucher, you will be contacted by a Delivery Partner, who will take you through a diagnostic process. This process will help determine the area in which you should seek strategic planning advice. The five areas are:

Expanding your workforce – Recruiting and developing your staff
Finance and cashflow – Raising finance and managing cashflow
IT and web – Making the most of digital technology
Leadership and management – Improving leadership and management skills
Marketing and customer service – Marketing, attracting and keeping customers

Once your diagnosis is determined the Delivery Partner will lead you to the Marketplace section of the  Enterprise Nation website. Revell Ward are listed on the marketplace under the “Raising finance and managing cashflow” section and have up to 4 strategic sessions available.
