Karen Borowski
Karen likes to get things done and as a result is the driving force of many activities that occur outside the remit of an average accountant. Our dare to be different philosophy is fuelled by Karen’s compulsion to be the best. Karen leads the Audit and Payroll functions as well as Marketing and HR.
John Wilson
John deals with a wide range of owner-managed businesses and has a wealth of experience to add to his clients. John is a well-known and respected member of the local business community. He is in charge of the firm’s finances and runs everything with a velvet glove. Don’t let his silver hair deceive you - he keeps himself fit and ready for action by regularly playing squash and five-a-side football, where his competitive streak really shows through.
Jennifer Davies
Jennifer gets to know her clients really well – they view her as part of their team and know that she will lend a helping hand whenever required. Jennifer leads our Outsourcing team and uses her IT expertise to keep an eye on our computer systems. Jennifer has a finger in many pies, with regular activities including tennis, cooking, Spanish, crosswords and supporting her sons’ sporting successes!
Lesley Sutton
Lesley has an eye for detail which lends itself perfectly to her role heading up our tax team. Lesley has the ability to give tax advice to her clients in a clear and understandable way, a valuable advantage in today’s complex and ever changing tax world. Lesley has extensive experience advising businesses, with a keen interest in the not for profit and charitable sector and her team provide advice on all of the main types of tax.
Louise Walker
Louise puts into practice what some people can only aspire to do. Louise is a hands-on manager working on site with audit teams to see that audits are conducted efficiently and, to an extremely high standard. This means that Louise is largely based out of the office and has built close relationships with both clients and the audit team.
Patricia Laalej
Tricia has a close relationship with both her clients and the members of the Outsourcing department who work under her, which helps makes her an effective Manager. Hard-working and dedicated, she always delivers on time and is a valuable asset to the firm and to the clients she is involved with.

Local
Revell Ward has been a familiar name in Huddersfield for many years, but the current firm has been making headlines in recent months in a number of ways. It all began with the current team’s management buyout in September 2008 – motivated by a strong belief that Huddersfield, not Leeds, is the right place for the business to be based.
Strength
Having a strong grounding is important, and the partners and staff understand that supporting the local community in a variety of ways brings rewards of its own. You may have seen the Revell Ward advertising board at the Galpharm Stadium, or noticed our weekly banner on the back of the Examiner or even attended the First Friday Club.
The partners, John Wilson, Karen Borowski and Jennifer Davies, have a wealth of experience, John and Jennifer both trained with Revell Ward, whilst Karen joined the team back in 2002.
