Revell Ward’s “13 in 2013 Challenge” – another dimension!
Revell Ward’s dynamic duo Karen Borowski and Jennifer Davies have reached No 12 in their quest to do 13 charity bike rides in 2013.
This time they will be demonstrating a new concept in cycling on behalf of DEMAND (Design and Manufacture for Disability). Gaynor Haliday who is the Regional Fundraising Manager for DEMAND approached the Revell Ward partners when the “bike” was very much in its early stages of prototype but keen to get it into the 13 in 2013 Challenge she has kept up the pressure on the design and build team to get it finished on time.
The bike was paraded around the Huddersfield Town Centre on Tuesday 17 December, the duo aimed to raise the profile and a few pounds for the charity.
Karen Borowski said, this challenge is different again and it was fun to cycle around the Town Centre – at least it’s fairly flat!!
The team raised £113.01 on the day. If you would like to support the charities benefiting from the funds raised from this amazing challenge please donate to:
